Change Management, procedure 4. Closing RFCs

Procedure Summary

  1. Before closing the RFC, the Change Coordinator reviews the documentation to make sure the change, especially its implementation, has been correctly documented.
      
  2. The Change Coordinator also ensures that the CMDB is up to date, and that it reflects any modifications to Assets caused as a result of the change.
      
  3. The Coordinator closes the RFC in the system, and sends a notification to the Change Initiator, CAB members and other people affected by the Change.
